My 
Story

My passion for physical movement was built over a lifetime. In 2012, I decided to turn that passion into a career. Since then I have been coaching humans to move better and feel better. 

​

After 36 years of pretty great health, 2022 threw me a curve ball. 3 years later I have overcome 4 new diagnoses, a spinal cord injury caused by a medication, and a couple of life changing surgeries. 

​

I started blogging after my first surgery to begin the work of processing what had happened. Through sharing my story, I have been lucky enough to connect with a strong community of folks living with chronic illness, and have had the opportunity to share my story live as a guest speaker.

​

As a coach I continue to work with folks from a wide range of backgrounds, abilities and ages. 

​

I understand now more than ever, that fitness is for, and needs to be available to everybody.

​

These days my favourite forms of movement include trail running, weight lifting, skiing and stand up paddle boarding.​
